Armed with a degree in linguistics and five years as an English language teacher in the US and abroad, they spend a lot of time thinking about communication, language, and how words… word.

They have a love for fantasy, mythos, and genre subversion, and that is what drew them toward writing LGBTQ fantasy. With a tendency to fall into research pits while trying to write, they know a lot of random trivia about a lot of random topics.
